Are you coping with the present strange situation or just getting by?
Actually just getting by is coping! That’s all you have to do, is just get by, nothing special, nothing fancy.
People often think that they must not show their fears, vulnerabilities or stuff up when anxious, and to do so means that they are “weak” or ”not coping”.
Bottling up and hiding your emotions, your fear, and anxiety often makes you feel worse, and may increase your fear of others finding out that you are “weak” or not “perfect”, which you are telling yourself that you should be.
In addition, you don’t get the help and understanding which others may be able to give you.
Having the thought that “I just have to get by” lessens the pressure on you put on yourself, and helps you to cope.
It helps too, to learn a bit about anxiety and how it affects you and what to do about it.
I have provided an e-book called Action for Anxiety which is easy to read and outlines easy steps to understand and manage anxiety. It is available on these websites at a very reasonable price 🙂
